Let me run you through my morning. ihome goes off. snooze. iphone alarm #1. snooze. iphone alarm #1 again. reject. iphone alarm #2. reject. half asleep scan emails with one eye open… gilt.groupon.somethingsemiimportant.coolhunter. fall back to sleep phone in hand. get out of bed, 30 minutes (or two hours…) late. spend breakfast obsessing over cool hunter.
That right there is why only taking 6 credits as a second semester senior is a terrrrrrible idea. No incentive to get out of bed sans snooze … except to read the cool hunter.
So when they posted their recap of all the new, totally unnecessary but painfully awesome stuff coming to the MoMa store this spring, I completely fell in love with these:
On top is the space bimba watch from alessi (ie the design gods) and below is theOps! flat watch. Dear black alien blob thing. Please encase my wrist with your goodness… and bring the purple OPS! one along too. I’ll wear you together, on the same wrist. And everyone will marvel at the absurdity… until they really want to know the time.
I could always just set one to Florence time…how functional.
